I have had cremants before, but for the price I decided to pick one up. This wine is dry, with a little taste of toast and very light citrus; it doesn't impart too much impact of over flavoring your palate, but gives you something somewhere between a palate cleanser and a very light and dry Pinot Blanc, which is the most used grape in this blend. This wine would go great with fresh vegetables like asparagus, green peppers and celery as well as with light cheeses, though I would also elect to have it with sharp cheddar.
The bubbles are fine and constant, but not so in abundance as to be mistaken for a higher quality/better made product.. However, for the price, this wine is nice and a case would be great for a nice summer picnic with a ton of friends. This would also be great for wedding toasts.
Also, shout out to Kevin at Total Wines over in Cherry Hill, NJ.
